Values are the things we hold in high regards, the things we value and the things we believe to be important or useful to our lives….
In most cases, these values also include principles by which we live our lives and make meaningful decisions. Interestingly enough, we tend to use our values to determine what is right and wrong. This often leads us into value conflicts, where we are in conflict with others because we view situations differently based on our values.
Our values also determines the choices we make and how we choose to live our lives. If you do not already know your values, please make a list of your top ten values, the ones that are core to how you live and think.
To get you started, here are some of my values:
If you get to know me, you will notice that these values are core to how I live and operate my life. I can easily say no to things that do not relate to these values in my life.
