What Does Occupational Wellness Mean to You?
The month of October is a very busy month with several activities and opportunities for employees to with each other. In Canada, we go from celebrating Thanks Giving to getting ready for Halloween, there is a lot to keep the conversation buzz and level of interaction high.
While the various activities in October help employees stay engaged, it is also a time when they typically get in trouble with bullying, disrespectful behaviour, and other interpersonal issues.
At Interpersonal Wellness Services Inc. we focus on Occupational Wellness in the month of October and help our clients develop healthy engagement, civility, and respect at work as a competency.
Keeping Employees Engaged and Well
As a leader, you may be wondering how to help your employees to improve their occupational wellness, so the first thing to consider is that impact of a negative work environment on your employees. The impact is noted to retard work flow, reduce workplace productivity, and bring on ill health.
If these are things you would like to avoid in your workplace then it is critical that your employees get the support they need to have great conversations. We provide a powerful wellness conversation format that helps to reduce stress and make it safe for employees to have those tough conversations that can be otherwise stressful and difficult.
Wellness conversation format allow employees to bring real issues to the surface in a safe and inclusive way and address the issues that are taking away from their ability to work well and be as productive as they desire.
