Life Coaching in the Workplace

Life Coaching in the Workplace

Implement Life Coaching in the workplace!

Wondering if there is a need for life coaching in the workplace? Life happens at work and works often happens at home. The workplace is where people spend most of their waking hours, meaning their interpersonal skills and talents are on display daily.

As a Conflict Analyst and Coach, I have come to realize that many people lack the structures at home to support new behavior. In conversation with a human resources professional last week, she commented that employees don’t want to deal with disrespect and poor behavior at work anymore and are complaining more often and filing more grievances.

The key reason why life coaching at work is that employees already relate work with learning, thus it makes it easier for coaching to be another form of learning opportunities at work.

Some years ago, I developed the WIS®Dis-Ease Release Coaching Technique and have worked with employees using the model thousands of times. WIS®Dis-Ease Release coaching helps employees to trace all their actions back to a thought and an underlying belief system. This allows them to make transformational changes in their work responsibilities, attitudes and their lives.

Part of the more in-depth coach gives them access to the WIS®Assessment to assess how well they are doing in nine life dimensions, providing them and their coach with the information necessary to create a coaching plan for their work and life.

We have had tremendous success with this program. Through the WIS®Life Academy, they get to work on life change e-courses with deep reflections and exercises and they participate in ongoing coaching support for up to 12 months to sustain their progress. You can join any of the upcoming WIS®Dis-Ease coaching sessions to learn more about the program.
